admin | March 28, 2012

In The Vintage Fairy Tales we don´t have much money to spend,

nevertheless we can´t let such a detail stop us.

We want Crème de la Crème at Petite Violette!

We´re On The Road To Nowhere

admin | December 29, 2011

……….

One thing is certain in The Vintage Fairy Tales,

even if we´re on the road to nowhere,

this is the year we will be wearing fancy dresses and funny little hats.

HAPPY NEW YEAR,

and thank´s for all your lovely comments.

Much love/

I´m A Man Of Constant Sorrow, I´ve Seen Trouble All My Days

admin | August 7, 2011

“For six long years I’ve been in trouble
No pleasure here on Earth I found
For in this world I’m bound to ramble
I have no friends to help me now ” (traditional American folk song)

……….

No sorrows in The Vintage Fairy Tales.

The fact is that the fairy tale protagonist,

The Skating Monkey,

is happier than ever.

He will soon tell you why.

………..

The embellished clothing is an installation

made by artist Julie Arkell,

photographed at Les Soeurs Anglaises, France.

Have a GREAT week all of you and thank´s for visiting!

Love/

Becky

Do You Remember

admin | April 9, 2011

14

…….

……….

“Do you remember when we first met?
I sure do
It was some time
In early September
You were lazy about it
You made me wait around
I was so crazy about you
I didn’t mind
So I was late for class
I locked my bike to yours
It wasn’t hard to find
You painted flowers on
Guess that I was afraid
That if you rode away
You might not roll back
My direction real soon
Well I was crazy about you then
And now the craziest thing of all
Over 10 years have gone by
And you’re still mine
We’re locked in time
Let’s rewind “(lyrics Jack Johnson )

……….

Anniversary in The Vintage Fairy Tales,

and actually over twenty years have gone by.

……….

………

Happy Happy weekend to all of you,

I´m heading off to the cottage now!

……..

admin | December 26, 2010

used to laugh and call him names.

They never let poor Rudolph

join in other reindeer games.” (Johnny Marks )

We´ll go down in history,

The Hairless Mexican And His Friend

admin | November 30, 2010

…………

……………

…………

………….

In The Vintage Fairy Tales we like being creative,

it´s a lifeblood.

“The Hairless Mexican and his friend” are new members of our fabulous community.

The Hairless Mexican actually resembles my father,

although he is neither hairless or mexican.

(The secret is, THE MUSTACHE !!!)

…………..

The papier maché characters are made by me, with inspiration from Julie Arkell.

The “Pigfly” is now living with my dear friend and pen pal Helen in Yorkshire!

Love to all of you, new and old visitors!/

Becky
