I´m On The Road Again

admin | September 9, 2011

” Well, I’m so tired of crying, but I’m out
on the road again.
- I’m on the road again.” (lyrics, Canned Heat)

……..

Friends,

there will be no crying in The Vintage Fairy Tales.

There is simply no time for that.

I´m on my way to France for another lovely workshop with my favourite

mixed media artist Julie Arkell.

BUT, first of all I will meet some dear friends in Paris!

See you soon again/

Becky

I´m A Man Of Constant Sorrow, I´ve Seen Trouble All My Days

admin | August 7, 2011

“For six long years I’ve been in trouble
No pleasure here on Earth I found
For in this world I’m bound to ramble
I have no friends to help me now ” (traditional American folk song)

……….

No sorrows in The Vintage Fairy Tales.

The fact is that the fairy tale protagonist,

The Skating Monkey,

is happier than ever.

He will soon tell you why.

………..

The embellished clothing is an installation

made by artist Julie Arkell,

photographed at Les Soeurs Anglaises, France.

Have a GREAT week all of you and thank´s for visiting!

Love/

Becky

…………

In The Vintage Fairy Tale´s heaven,

we have daily naps, glossy magazines and no bad hair days.

If you want to play football in the rose garden,

you´ll have to go somewhere else though.

……….

Thank´s to my Dear Friend Jone Hallmark, who has made the beautiful mushroom,

and who even taught me how to do one myself.

What about the snail then?

Well, he is just another friend of mine.

………..

Love to all of you and thank´s for stopping by/
