Isn’t it lovely that we NEVER outgrow our Valentines! In the land of Vintage Fairy Tales they grow particularly pretty! But I cannot see valentines without remembering the “Valentine Box”..OOUUUUUHHHHHHH! That was usually a shoebox painted and decorated with paper doilies and cut-out pictures..or stickers when our kids were little. And a slot in the top to push in all those valentines from classmates. Picking out just the right Valentines…and it had to include the special one for the teacher. The best went to your dearest friends..and the mediocre ones to the kids you didn’t like all that much..But you had to have one for EVERY KID..it was against the law, or something, not to!
Happy Valentines to the Skating Moneky and pals!!! I will save the BEST Valentine for YOU!
