This Is Me, Yeah I Know They´re Great !

admin | June 29, 2009

mg_2938_web

This is me, yeah I know they´re  great , lost in Paris!

Sam and I will leave now for a week in France.

We´re gonna attend 5- day creative workshop lead by the contemporary folk artist  JULIE ARKELL.

“I love to make things with materials that have ‘seen life’;  embroidering words and stories onto old cloth, stitching into books and paper, repairing, darning, making dolls, toys, jewellery and objects of eccentricity.  We will spend a couple of mornings during the workshop scouring the local brocantes and markets, and inspired by our finds we will combine the wonderful old fabrics, trinkets, braid, lace and threads with the items from your personal collections to make inspirational mementos.”(Julie Arkell)

From Paris we will go by the TGV to the town Angouléme and finally go by car to the beautiful

Briançon where the workshop is held.

So far so good. There is one thing that makes me worried though,

on the way back home to Sweden I have to travel alone…

That is a Mr Bean-catastrophe, I have absolutely NO SENSE OF LOCALITY.

I have made reservations for the first train in the morning from Angouléme to Paris, and the last

flight in the evening from Paris to Copenhagen. That gives me eight hours to find the

right train to the airport.

Do you think I can make it?

It´s Always More Fun To Share With Everyone

admin | June 17, 2009

It´s always more fun to share with everyone.

If you´ve got a ball bounce it to the gang

If there is a new kid invite him out to hang.

And if you´re feeling lonely share time with your mom

Share some milk and cookies and sing the sharing song. ( Jack Johnson )

It´s Just Been Raining On My Face

admin | June 14, 2009

“I´m not crying, it´s just been raining on my face.

I´m not upset because you left me this way,

my eyes are just a little sweaty today.” (Flight Of The Conchords )

Rosenkrage ( Crysanthemum coccineum ), no tears of sadness just tears of joy.

Good Morning Little Schoolgirl

admin | June 10, 2009

“Good morning little schoolgirl, can I come home with you.

Tell your moma and your papa, I´m a little schoolboy too.”( Sonny Boy Williamson )

I´ve been collecting these tiny Nancy Ann Storybook dolls for quite a while now,

I have enough to put an entire school class together.

One day I will do a class picture but not now.

The kids are on summervacation and the teacher is burned-out.

It´s Our Party Now

admin | June 2, 2009

I wear my hottest lipstick and my most beautiful skirt,

I drink the best coffee and eat the biggest cake,

I ride the fastest red bike in town and I plant roses in high-heeled shoes, EVERY DAY.

Do You ?

Do I ?
