There is confusion in The Vintage Fairytale world,

a good friend has gone astray and can not be found anywhere.

Hopefully she will turn up right on time for the afternoon tea.

In The Vintage Fairy Tales we don´t take life too seriously.

We take one day at a time.

We don´t care much about politics and religion and we are not terribly worried about

global warming.

We find life quite easy and comfortable.

The only thing we really care about and take very seriously is what kind of delicious pastry

we will be served for the afternoon tea.

When the delightful ladies of “Hardaker & Pope” announced a CUP CAKE COMPETITION

on their blog,

my friends in the Vintage Fairy Tales became very enthusiastic and firmly declared that this

was definitely their branch of sport.

We discussed the topic “cup cakes” for a while and decided that we wanted something festive.

The Skating Monkey came up with the brilliant idea that an amusement park

with cup cakes would be kind of nice.

The rest is history.

We won the competition and the cup cakes are eaten.

Life is back to normal again in The Vintage Fairy Tales.

Happy days in the Vintage Fairy Tales!

A great little package arrived with First Class International snail the other day.

It was from the Mother of Fairy Tale Pottery, Julie Whitmore.

She sent me the most beautiful necklace to wear among my friends in the fairy tales.

Thank you!

My friend here “Mr. Sad Shadow” thought it was for him,

a talisman that would bring him luck.

I had to buy him some flowers instead.

We have no snow in The Vintage Fairy Tales,

just a polka dotted watering can hanging in the apple tree.

If you ask my friends about snowflakes,

they will shake their heads and reply that the only flakes they have ever heard about

are cornflakes.
